Condition Description - Full title reads: Regimen Sanitatis, The Rule of Health, A Gaelic Medical Manuscript of the Early 16th Century of perhaps older from The Vade Mecum of the Famous MacBeaths, Physicians to the Lords of the Isles and the Kings of Scotland for Several Centuries. Original blue cloth boards with gilt title on spine. Boards have some edge and corner wear with some rubbing to edges of spine. Fading and discolouration to spine and occasional marking to boards. Pages remain well bound but a couple of pages are starting to show signs of coming away from binding with a crack in the margin. Occasional foxing/marking to pages but the majority are clean. Small reference number and mark written on end pages.
