An attractive set, perfect for a private library.  Red boards have gilt and black decorations on front board and spine, with gilt title to spine.  Fading to spine, and some edge and corner wear to boards.  Some mild staining to boards.  Gilt page edges.  Volumes II and III have a gift message/ small section of writing inside.  The majority of pages remain clean and bright with some small areas of mild foxing and light staining.  All remain well bound.
